Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mooji Sangha Adelaide?

We are for those with an passion for Mooji, a non-duality teacher based in Portugal. We hold Satsangs around the Adelaide region in private homes, suitable for anybody who is seeking greater happiness in their life.

No belief in Mooji, non-duality or religion is required. In fact, Mooji will encourage you to throw all belief out the window, in the search for what is real.

What is a Satsang/Sangha?

A sangha is simply a group of individuals coming together in community for the primary purpose of spiritual growth.

A satsang is a spiritual gathering focused on exploring and sharing insights into truth and self-realization. The word satsang comes from the Sanskrit words sat (truth) and sanga (association or gathering). It can be interpreted as “being in the company of truth”.

What happens at a satsang?

In silence, we go through our own inwards journey. We play a recording of a Mooji satsang to give us guidance and support, but we are not some much watching a video, but rather using the space and presence of Mooji to meditate and explore the truth within ourselves.

On occasion, we sometimes have some kirtan chanting afterwards. Then, there is some time for community discussion and eating.

If you find you would rather leave in silence straight immediately after the satsang, that is very welcome.

Is this a cult?

No, because we are not worshiping anything but the truth within ourselves. Some choose to practice devotion to Mooji, but that is purely a personal preference.
